Hedieh obtained her BSc from Azad University Tehran Medical Science in Iran and completed her MSc degree at the University of Ottawa, Canada
Darren obtained his BSc from Carleton University in Ottawa and completed his PhD at McGill University. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow studying the role of cancer cachexia on muscle stem cell function
Nawal obtained her BSc degree from the Taibah University in Medina, Saudi Arabia and completed her PhD at the University of Ottawa. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow studying the role of inflammaging on muscle stem cell function.
Maryam obtained her BSc from Shahid Beheshti University and completed her MSc at Royan Institute in collaboration with the University of Science and Culture, both in Iran. She began her PhD at the University of Ottawa in January 2024. Her research interests lie in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine, with a current focus on the epigenetic rejuvenation of aged muscle stem cell.
Nika is completing her Honours BSc in Translational and Molecular Medicine at the University of Ottawa. Her research focuses on the effect of aging on the composition and assembly of the extracellular matrix and muscle stem cell function
